In this slow and melancholy track the R&B singer, known for not being afraid to delve deep into her emotions and share her vulnerabilities with her listeners, has once again provided us with lyrics that most people will be able to relate to. This solemn single eases us in with its simple use of keyboard before the beat drops. Then, we are engulfed instantly by the pain and confusion the artist clearly feels as she speaks about staying with someone who she knows is not good for her. ‘Addicted’ follows Ash B’s most recent track ‘Beautiful’, that dropped in March, showing us that whilst this artist takes her time to provide us with new songs, they are always worth the wait.
